Acute Care Point of Care Ultrasound Fellowship

The Division of Emergency Medicine at Western University is proud to offer a 1-year Acute Care POCUS fellowship program. Our focus is on training future leaders in point of care ultrasound by developing advanced POCUS scanning skills combined with ultrasound teaching, research and administration. Graduates of this program will be equipped to function as directors in both academic and community hospitals.

This program is an accredited Area of Focused Competency (AFC) by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Fellows will be eligible for the “Acute Care Point of Care Ultrasonography” diploma upon completion. See here or on the Royal College website regarding AFCs for more information.
